COVID-19 Updates
Last Updated on 2/9/2022

In response to the rapidly changing information and circumstances with respect to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the City's primary recommendation to slow the spread of the coronavirus is to reduce close contact with others, modify, cancel or postpone events, RAICES is taking this recommendation very seriously.

We are happy to inform you that our centers are re-opening for on-site activities as of Monday, February 7, 2022.  We will be providing hot meals and activities in a congregate setting, however, capacity continues to be limited to 25%.

We currently offer virtual programming daily (please see calendar) and “Grab & Go” meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 11 am - 1 pm. The “Grab and Go” meals will not be offered at the Bland and Astoria Social Club Centers. Casework and benefits and entitlement assistance will be available in-person by appointment only.

Please be assured that we have created a contingency plan which includes ways in which staff will work remotely, remain connected with our participants, and monitor their wellbeing during this pandemic.

If you need assistance, please contact the RAICES center closest to your home or call 311.

Stay safe by staying home.

While we are facing unprecedented circumstances, we know that together we will get through this.
