Raíces Times Plaza Senior Center
Hispanic Heritage Celebration

Raices Times Plaza Senior Center  celebrated it's Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Thursday, October 20, 2011 with over 175 participants, fantastic music, dancing and of course delicious food.

A special "thank you" to the sponsors of the event who shared information regarding health, banking, elderly services, and the expenses of the much enjoyed event.

Live music by four volunteers playing their instruments alongside the DJ made the event that much more enjoyable, where it seemed everyone was moving their bodies dancing on their feet, their chairs or wherever there was space to celebrate the music.

"Una Mas, Una Mas" (One More, One More) was shouted toward the end of the celebration, instructing the DJ to play one more song before departing (in actuality he play three more, setting the stage for a great ending).
