RED HOOK SENIOR CENTER

The Red Hook Senior Center offers its members a sense of family, friendship and fellowship. We serve all seniors (60 years of age and older) as well as disabled individuals.  Our bilingual staff (English/Spanish) provides case assistance, information on benefits and entitlements in:

• Medicaid-Medicare and Medicare Part D
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• Social Security (SSA)
• Medical Insurance Counseling
• Food Stamps
• Senior Housing Issues
• Senior Citizens Rent Increase Exemption Program (SCRIE)
• Disabled Rent Increase Exemption (DRIE)
• Home Owners Tax Abatement Programs
• Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)

Regularly scheduled guest speakers visit Red Hook Senior Center to share and present the members with new and updated information concerning Health Care, Elder Abuse, Crime Prevention, Sanitation, Fire Safety, and many other relevant issues of today.
